Vintage Charm in East Providence, RI.

Recently, the Garage Headquarters team was presented with a challenging makeover on a home located on the east side of Providence.

The homeowner had three very specific requests for us:
1. He needed to switch from his current traditional two-door garage to a single-door system.
2. He wanted to preserve the home's vintage charm and keep it in style with the surrounding historic neighborhood.
3. The homeowner wanted the look of a real wood door without the high maintenance costs generally associated with a real wood door.

Rickey, our seasoned field supervisor, worked closely with the general contractor to ensure precise measurements for the work that needed to be done to go from a two-door to a one-door system. In addition, he helped facilitate a seamless, high-quality installation.

Our residential sales team qualified a number of options to satisfy the three needs of the customer. Ultimately, we selected and installed a door from Garage Headquarters Nantucket Series in a striking burgundy color.

This allowed us to meet all three goals: finding a product to transition to the desired one-door system, maintaining the vintage look of the house, and installing a high-quality product that looks like a real wood door but with all the performance and low-cost maintenance that was desired.
