GHQ 300

A full 3″ thick, the GHQ300 aluminum sectional rail and stile door is the sturdiest door in the Garage Headquarters commercial products collection. The increased thickness adds strength and durability. With the incorporation of the U-bar trussing inside the rails, there are no obstructions to your view.

The GHQ300 is the clear choice for auto dealerships, car washes, corrosive environments, police, fire and ambulance stations, quick lubes, repair facilities, restaurants, marinas, sports facilities, and buildings with large opening sizes.

YEARS OF DURABILITY

GHQ300 door sections are clear-anodized for maximum durability and are designed to withstand minimum wind loads of 20 p.s.f. Higher pressure ratings are available upon request.

DECREASED ENERGY COSTS

GHQ300 doors help you reduce energy costs with a U-shaped, vinyl bottom weatherseal secured by a sturdy aluminum retainer.

INTEGRAL U-BAR

Integral U-bar construction within the rails of the GHQ300 creates added strength to the section panels and provides for a clean look on the interior of the door by removing trussing obstructions from visible areas (only required for doors wider than 18’2″).

JAMB SEAL

EPDM rubber jamb seal also helps to reduce air infiltration and decrease energy costs by sealing the side of the door when closed.

ENDURACOTE™

The GHQ EnduraCote hardware system comes with springs, tracks, and hardware that are powder coated to provide a clean, finished look and maximum protection against rust.

ALUMINUM PANELS

For busy work environments and to prevent glass breakage, aluminum panels protect your investment. Choose from insulated panels, kick panels, and impact-rated panels as well.

SECURE LOCKS

In applications where control and access are important, choose from a variety of locking options to help keep your building secure. Locks come in both inside and outside variations.

SNAP-IN RETAINER

GHQ300 panels and glass are sealed and held in place with a snap-in retainer. Clear anodized and standard white doors use gray snap-ins. All other doors use black snap-ins.

HEADER SEAL

Flexible vinyl flap header seal reduces air infiltration and energy costs by sealing the top of the door against the header.

CHOICE OF WINDOWS

Available in impact glass, tempered, tinted, double pane, insulated, acrylic, or polycarbonate in a variety of thicknesses. Glass thickness range from 1/8″ to 1″.

SLEEK SIGHTLINES

Our GHQ300 model offers a sleek 1-pane or trendy 2-pane glass layout. These new glass layouts are available now and vary depending on glass type and door size.

HIGH-CYCLE COUNTERBALANCE SYSTEM

For reliable operation in high traffic areas, choose high-cycle torsion springs with 25,000, 50,000, or 100,000-cycle life. For reduced maintenance and ultra-smooth operation in heavy-use applications, choose a weight counterbalance system.

CARBON MONOXIDE VENT

Allows you to channel fumes to the outside when the GHQ300 door is closed. Available in a variety of sizes.

DOOR SECTIONS

Garage Headquarters warrants the door sections against defects in material and workmanship for five (5) years from date of delivery to the original purchaser. Window components are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for three (3) years from date of delivery to the original purchaser.

HARDWARE

Garage Headquarters warrants all hardware against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from date of delivery to the original purchaser.

SPRINGS

Garage Headquarters warrants springs against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from date of delivery to the original purchaser. The limited warranty for special high-cycle springs is prorated by percentage of cycle use, and must be determined by the use of a non-resettable cycle counter.

ArmorBrite™

Doors equipped with AmorBrite powder coat carry a warranty against cracking or peeling (losing adhesion) for three (3) years from date of delivery to the original purchaser.

Elegant Finish Woodtones™

Single Family Residential and All Other Residential (including installation on rental properties, homes owned by common condominiums associations or similar organizations):

5-Year Elegant Finish Woodtones Limited Warranty

For a period of 5 years, Garage Headquarters warrants the appearance of aluminum sections made with Elegant Finish Woodtones per the specifications set forth per AAMA 2604:

1. Product coated will not fade in color more than 5 ΔE units as measured by Hunter Lab color difference as set forth per AAMA 2604 specifications as of the application date and in such way as to significantly adversely affect the appearance of the surface to which the product has been applied and result in damage to the surface.

2. Coated surface will exhibit gloss retention of a minimum of 30% of the original using a 60 degree reading per AAMA 2604 specifications.

3. Coating shall not chalk in excess of standard number 8 as illustrated in the ASTM D4214 test method A.

Woodtone finishes may vary across a section due to material runs at the supplier, environmental, chemical, or equipment variations and are not considered a manufacturing defect and do not constitute a basis for complaint under this limited warranty. Color match on new or replacement section(s) is not warrantied nor guaranteed. As with real wood products, simulated woodtone doors will have variation in color finish. These are normal to the manufacturing process and add to the characteristic individual nature of the product.
